Jackson De Toni

Jackson De Toni is PhD in Political Science at the University of Brasilia (UnB), with a thesis on State-Business Relations (SBR), a research on public-private relations in Brazilian industrial policy. He has a Master degree in Urban and Regional Planning By the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in the area of urban mobility and holds a degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. He was a Planning Technician and General Director of the Planning and Management Secretariat of the State of Rio Grande do Sul ( 1998/2002), Special Advisor of the Technical Staff of the Presidency of the Republic (2004/2006) and Manager of Planning and Management of the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (2007/2011). He coordinated and published several studies about Brazilian industry, evaluation of public policies and governamental strategic planning. He took part actively in the preparation and coordination of the ''Plano Brasil Maior'', in 2011, and monitoring and evaluating of productive development projects and programs. He is currently Innovation and Productivity Analyst at the technical staff of the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI), linked to the Ministry of Economy of brazilian government. He was Planning and Inteligence Manager at ABDI from 2011 to 2019. He is PMO - Certified Practitioner (PMO Global Alliance). He is a professor of management and public policy in Brasília, at the institutions ENAP, IBMEC, FGV and IESB.[VERSÃO EM PORTUGUÊS]Jackson De Toni é doutor em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB), com tese sobre Relações Estado-Empresa, fez pesquisa sobre relações público-privadas na política industrial brasileira. É Mestre em Planejamento Urbano e Regional pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, na área de mobilidade urbana e graduado em Economia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Foi Técnico de Planejamento e Diretor Geral da Secretaria de Planejamento e Gestão do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (1998/2002), Assessor Especial do Corpo Técnico da Presidência da República (2004/2006) e Gerente de Planejamento e Diretoria da Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (2007/2011). Coordenou e publicou diversos estudos sobre a indústria brasileira, avaliação de políticas públicas e planejamento estratégico governamental. Participou ativamente na elaboração e coordenação do Plano Brasil Maior, em 2011, e no acompanhamento e avaliação de projetos e programas de desenvolvimento produtivo. Atualmente é Analista de Inovação e Produtividade do corpo técnico da Agência Brasileira de Desenvolvimento Industrial (ABDI), vinculada ao Ministério da Economia do governo brasileiro. Foi Gerente de Planejamento e Inteligência da ABDI de 2011 a 2019. É PMO - Certified Practitioner (PMO Global Alliance). É professor de gestão e politicas públicas em Brasília, nas instituições ENAP, IBMEC, FGV e IESB.
